Release Notes for Vellum 4.1.7
A recent change to ebook conversion at Amazon KDP caused ornaments to display incorrectly or disappear. Vellum 4.1.7 adjusts how ornaments are included in Kindle ebooks to ensure they appear as intended.
Vellum 4.1 delivers expanded heading controls, improved Word import, and a range of refinements shaped by your suggestions.
You can now control Heading Images with position and size options, plus a new Include In setting to make them ebook-only.
In Vellum’s Settings, you can now specify a default author name for all new books.
We’ve made targeted improvements to Vellum’s chapter detection when importing a Word file.
